Renato Ozzimo, better known as Rennie, is an independent Australian singer-songwriter based in Melbourne. His debut studio album was a culmination of three years work during which time Rennie has continued to evolve and challenge himself as a performer, his voice radiating truth. With spirit, lust and soul, he makes his biggest creative leap yet.

Produced entirely by Paul Wiltshire (CEO of Songtradr Inc), ‘Dear Life,’ the album title, is a reflective memoir of the past; a diary that inspires hope and courage. A collaborative journey of mostly original songs, combining themes of reckless ambition, there are also moments of love and loss, including tender ballads of leaving and returning home, high-energy pop breakouts and opportunities to transport you back to the ideal world of ‘Planet X’, your final destination.

Rennie lists his inspirations as renowned artists including Geoff Byrd, David Cook, Guy Sebastian and Shoshana Bean.

“Music is the shorthand of emotion. As an artist, I endeavour to create special moments for my audiences through the delivery of my songs. I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, they’ll forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. Victor Hugo once said, ‘music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.’ ”
